Reform Symposium Presentation on Student Blogging!

Saturday, July 30 at 1:30pm PDT (UTC -7) I had the great honor to be able to share something I’ve been enjoying doing for years, having my students blog! Educators from all over the world convened at this year’s Reform Symposium, RSCON3, and my presentation was Student Blogging for Reflection, as e-Portfolio, and as Formative Assessment. (See my promo video and my RSCON3 presenter profile.)

Here are a few resources from the presentation:
My slides with active links
Google Doc for adding Blog platforms & ideas/thoughts (please add to this)
YouPublish Blog Letter I send home to parents with Blogger’s Contract
And here’s my Elluminate Session Recording!

Keep on reading for more information about the Reform Symposium because it’s been truly a great event! (And as of this edit it’s still going on strong with plenty more awesome presentations to attend! All for FREE!)
