Avatars

You can make an avatar like the one below with Portrait Illustrator. You don’t even need to set up an account with any of these, just create the picture and when it looks ready just drag it to your desktop and upload it (Windows users might need to right click on the picture and save it in the documents folder). Or you can take a screen shot. It’s a bit more work but saves you having to create accounts. Read this blog to learn how to resize and/or convert your image in case you need to to upload it to your blog.

Another one you can try is Voki, which allows you to create a talking avatar.

This is a meez avatar. If you get one you need to figure out where to upload it, like photobucket or flickr, to put on your blog.

This one’s pretty cool and new, go to besmurfed.com to create your own smurf that talks! It can even talk with your own voice.

And those are just some ideas to get you going on choosing an avatar 🙂 I also found this website with more ideas!

Here’s another website with more awesome choices for making avatars! You’ve got to check this one out (make sure to look at the slideshares because those documents have a bunch of great sites.
