Midterm

I’ve been letting students know what my schedule is this midterm for having progress reports ready and printed. February 5th is the midterm and that week is when I am striving to have progress reports ready to go home with students. I will hand them to the office to be mailed home on Feb 12. Our grading program server will be down this weekend for updates so I can’t work on it then.

Currently, I have updated grades for my 8th grade Computer Graphics and Web Design class, and I have graded and returned the 7th grade science quizzes (check HW page, week 7, for information on make-up). I am working on grading the 6th grade science tests. Once I am done grading the science tests I will hand them back to students (check HW page, week 7 or 8, for information on make-up). When I am done with grading all the tests I will begin going through the 95 science notebooks that I need to read. Once I am done with all of those I will be ready to print progress reports.

Parents, if you need to see how your child is doing before February 8 or 9 please stop my classroom, room 604, with your child after school. I have their notebooks with all their work and my notebook to check and see rather quickly what they are missing. I tell students very often that I am available everyday at lunch for them to make up any and all classwork and I’m available after school by appointment. This week, week of Jan 29, I plan to have my room available for students to work everyday after school.

Mr. González
